KFC launches video game console — with a 'red hot' fried chicken grill - New York Post

KFC has devised a way for hungry gamers to reheat their fried chicken without having to press pause — by launching a finger-lickin’ good video game console with a built-in grill.

“The KFConsole has arrived,” announced manufacturer Cooler Master on their website.

KFC originally posted a video on the KFConsole following the June debut of the Playstation 5, in which they boasted that the contraption was “equipped with a red hot grill.” However, gamers thought the multifaceted machine was a goof until the makers clarified that it was, in fact, the real deal on Tuesday.

“Yes it’s real,” tweeted Intel representative Mark Walton. “Yes, it’s powered by Intel. And yes, it has a chicken warmer.”

KFC Gaming even released an epic video showcasing the KFConsole’s state-of-the-art “Chicken Chamber,” a miniature microwave-like compartment in which snackish button mashers can place chicken to warm while they play.

“Utilizing the system’s natural heat and airflow system you can now focus on your gameplay and enjoy hot, crispy chicken between rounds,” according to Cooler Master.

If that wasn’t nifty enough, the device also offers “smooth and fluid high-frame-rate gameplay at up to 240fps for all games, with support for 240Hz output on 4k displays,” per the description.

Unfortunately, KFC has yet to announce when or where the KFConsole will be available.

Gamers can sate their KFC-related pixel pangs in the interim by playing the “I Love You, Colonel Sanders! dating simulator” or building KFC restaurants on “Minecraft.”

In other seasonal news, Walmart is still serving KFC’s fried chicken-scented fire log for the holidays.
